Husky Giving Day Thanks

Thank you to the 24 donors that gave on Husky Giving Day! Their generous donations, along with 24 matching gifts of $40 each from GCGP Program Director Robin Bennett and her husband Scott MacDonald, raised a total of $3805 for our Master’s in Genetic Counseling program at UW Medicine in just 24 hours.

Robin and Scott created this challenge donation in honor of Robin’s 40-year anniversary as a genetic counselor in the UW Division of Medical Genetics. Even though we did not reach the goal of 40 gifts yesterday, they have decided to give their full challenge pledge of $1600 which now brings us to a total of $4445. Thank you so much, Robin and Scott!

Every gift goes directly to helping our graduate students, including funding professional development opportunities, genetic counseling conference registrations, board exam prep, and more.
