Kiana Roberts is a 2nd year genetic counseling student in the UW Genetic Counseling Graduate Program (GCGP). She currently serves on the UW GCGP Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Justice (DEIJ) committee. In 2025, Kiana Roberts earned a Master’s in Human Genetics and Genomic Data Analytics (MSGDA) from Keck Graduate Institute (KGI) located in Claremont, California. During this time, she served as Patient Advocacy and Industry Outreach Chair for KGI’s Students for Rare- NORD Chapter. Previously, she earned graduate certificates in Essentials of Public Health and Epidemiology from the University of Kansas Medical Campus. Her research areas of interest include health equity, community engagement in genetics and genomics, and underrepresented patient, students, and provider populations in genetics and genomics.
