The University of Washington Genetic Counseling Graduate Program (UW GCGP) is part of the UW Department of Medicine (UW DOM) which is committed to increasing the recruitment, retention, and advancement of faculty, fellows, students, and residents from groups underrepresented in medicine, and to promoting an inclusive environment across the department.

The Office of Graduate Student Equity & Excellence (GSEE) is committed to enhancing equity and social progression to promote the success of Black, Latine, Native American, and Pacific Islander graduate students at UW Bothell, Seattle, and Tacoma.

The Q Center facilitates and enhances a brave, affirming, liberatory, and celebratory environment for students, faculty, staff, and alumni of all sexual and gender orientations, identities, and expressions at the UW.
